 Who we are: 

Permadec Pty Ltd is an Australian company formed in2017 to promote an existing range of permanent formwork products to the local market. EMJ Plastics Ltd, the parent company, has designed and manufactured this range of formwork for over 50 years and has supplied it to over 6,000 civil projects to date. Given the current level of investment in the infrastructure market, we are keen to expand our client base and develop a deeper relationship with engineering and contracting groups at a local level. We are looking for a full time Sales Representative to come onboard who is responsible for the NSW and Victorian markets. 

Description:

The role of Sales Representative will allow the successful applicant the opportunity to be at the forefront of driving new business development throughout Australia. You will be required to develop and engage with warm leads, conduct/organize continuous professional development (CPD) sessions, complete site visits and build relationships within the civil construction industry. If you are technically qualified with a proven eager drive to grow and develop in an expansive industry, Permadec is the place for you. 

The position duties:

  • Communicating organisation and strategic goals and objectives into workable sales plans.
  • Lead, manage and drive an opportunity pipeline.
  • Reporting – opportunity pipeline and market intelligence.
  • Sell and manage all Permadec Pty services within the Key Accounts portfolio, to achieve targets.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities, performance and results of this key position.
  • Conduct Weekly Sales Operating Reviews via the company’s internal CMS system.
  • Manage the social media platforms of Permadec. 
  • Conduct and organise CPD sessions with new and existing clients. 
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of commercial paperwork. 
  • Coordinate with site and our logistics partners for deliveries. 

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience and sales background, with proven performance. 
  • Engineering or construction degree with experience in the industry. Infrastructure/civil experience is strongly favoured but not necessary. 
  • Significant commercial/ industry B2B sales experience and proven performance.
  • Sound experience converting prospects to profitable new business.
  • Technical competence and knowledge of the construction sector.
  • Ability to manage time and competing priorities. 
  • Experience in CAD, solid works, technical drawing etc. College/University module or 1 year experience minimum. 
  • Strong competence with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel. 
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Project Professional to design and issue project program to clients. 
  •  
  • Preferred candidate will have relevant experience in GRP composites, ideally with hands on knowledge of manufacture and properties. 
  • Knowledge and competence of GRP production including methods of repair, cutting etc. Hands on experience required/essential. 
  • Training in the products and the role will be provided.

What’s In It For You
