Job location: North Ryde
Primary Purpose of Role
- To administer, support and maintain the Pathology technology enterprise and associated infrastructure services across the Pathology group multiple locations (i.e., local lab network infrastructure, security, physical and virtual servers, backup systems)
- Supporting and maintaining organizational computer systems, desktops, mobile phones and other peripherals.
- Responsible for the efficient and timely resolution of technology issues and maintenance, both on demand and per request
- Undrestand and troubleshoot networking issues
- Fulfilment and deployment of new or replacement hardware components, desktop and technology hardware and software components
- To ensure technology services tasks are managed effectively and responsibly, to agreed service
- Act as technical lead on Pathology IT project implementations
- Review, maintain and update IT processes and systems
To be considered for this role your skills and attributes should include:
- 2-5 years of experience in level 1 &/or 2 support roles
- Relevant qualification in IT or comparable experience - Microsoft, VMWare
- Windows Systems admin skills - configuring systems
- Printer and PC support experience
- Ability to present and communicate both business and technical concepts.
- Strong customer service and technical skills
- Flexibility to work on-call outside of business hours on a roster
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- ITIL Foundation Certification is desirable
