About the Role
The Permanent HR Advisor Advisor position is part of a dynamic team within the Organisational Development and Business Partnerships department. This generalist role contributes to the shaping and implementation of a best practice HR service delivery model and provides overall coordination of HR queries, taking ownership and recommending effective solutions or escalating as required.
The HR Advisor is responsible for providing subject matter expertise across all HR processes by providing best practice coordination, assistance and advice on the application of FRV policies, relevant Agreements, employment benefits, systems and procedures.
What you will need to Succeed
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Diploma Human Resources or other related field;
- Demonstrate generalist HR administration and/ or coordination experience;
- Sound knowledge and application of key legislation pertaining to employment (i.e. the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards, Equal Opportunity Act);
- Ability to interpret complex employment agreements and policies and the ability to recognise when to engage or escalate;
- Experienced in formal position/job evaluation methodology;
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills including the ability to actively listen and speak with confidence to all levels of staff.

FRV’s standard practice is to appoint at the base of the salary range, however consideration will be given to an above base salary within the advertised range based on the successful candidate’s skills and experience
