Technical Services Officer

• Hybrid role based at Parramatta or Newcastle
• 18 weeks paid parental leave – with Super

The opportunity

Work collaboratively to triage claims and provide technical support for workers compensation claims.

Your new role

As our Technical Services Officer you will be supporting the intake and assessment of claims. Your role will see you gathering, monitoring, and assessing information on the claims that will ensure a smooth service provided to the injured workers. More specifically, you will:
 

• Provide technical support for low complexity claims including triage, PIAWE reviews and approvals and escalations
• Monitoring of daily compliance requirements across Low Complexity Team
• Providing coaching support to case managers where required
• Assist in the maintenance and management of claims strategies and objectives

About you

• Extensive experience in a workers’ compensation claims role or similar role with broad knowledge of workers compensation laws and compliance obligations
• Demonstrated experience in supporting Case Manager coaching, decision making and technical claims management.
• Excellent people, communication, written, and networking skills.
• A person-centred approach to customer service and people management.
