Job Overview: As a Technical Solutions Engineer, you will serve as a technical liaison between our company and our customers. You will collaborate closely with our sales, product, and engineering teams to understand customer requirements, address technical inquiries, and ensure successful implementation and use of our products or services. Your expertise will be pivotal in delivering industry-leading technical support and solutions to drive customer satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities:

Technical Expertise: Provide solution designs using project management methodologies and processes to ensure consistent high-quality client outcomes.

Customer Communication: Engage with customers to understand their technical requirements, challenges, and objectives. Provide clear and concise explanations of technical concepts tailored to various audience levels.

Problem Solving: Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues reported by customers, identifying root causes and proposing effective solutions. Collaborate with internal teams to implement fixes and improvements.

Solution Design: Collaborate with customers to design Technical Solutions that meet their specific needs, leveraging our products or services effectively.

Pre-Sales Support: Assist the sales team during pre-sales activities, including technical demonstrations, presentations, and discussions with potential customers.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, engineering, and QA, to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications:

• Current electrical/electronic Engineering qualification, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven work experience in the designing of custom-built AC/DC UPS systems.
• Preferably has knowledge and experience of the associated Australian standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Customer-focused attitude with the ability to empathize and understand customer needs.
• Skilled in identifying, developing and implementing innovative continuous improvement projects to enhance and improve efficiencies and productivity of business.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
