We are seeking an experienced individual who excels in the supply, sales, and delivery of customer solutions in the welding, gas, and abrasives industry. If you have a passion for these products and a track record of success, then this is the role for you.

As part of our team, you will work closely with our sales and customer care teams to provide exceptional value and solutions to our valued customers.

Reporting directly to the Team Leader, your role will involve:

  • Building, developing, and fostering existing and new customer relationships by leveraging your expertise to identify and deliver solutions to their everyday needs
  • Providing technical sales support for welding, gas, and abrasives products, from identifying the right products to delivering customised solutions in collaboration with account managers and vendors
  • Maintaining an opportunity pipeline, providing performance reports, market insights, and customer feedback to drive growth
  • Sharing your product knowledge, expertise through training and support to our sales and customer service teams
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with customers and vendors by delivering top-notch technical expertise
  • Assisting with quote and tender responses, including recommending the best products for specific requirements
  • Contributing to cross-functional projects and initiatives to drive innovation and excellence

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in delivering technical expertise in the welding, gas, and abrasives industry or a similar hands-on fabrication background
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders, negotiate effectively, and influence outcomes
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to collaborate, build positive relationships across different functions within the organisation
  • A desire to work face-to-face with customers, providing them with tailored technical solutions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with knowledge of CRM systems being highly regarded
