Cleared is working with Navy & is seeking a NV2 Technical Specialist based in Sydney to support critical software and hardware for operationally critical situational awareness capability. This initial 5-month contract opportunity with a 12-month extension is based in Sydney! Apply now and support our Navy in delivering situational awareness data using dynamic network architectures, computer systems, and software. This opportunity will start February & is an initial 5-month contract, with a 12-month extension. As a Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing data integrity and system availability of the Global Command and Control System - Maritime (GCCS-M) which supports the end user, Maritime Data Correlation Centre (MDCC), in the delivery of the Maritime Common Tactical Picture to Navy. Requirements The successful candidates will have Experience in Architecture - Server Build, configure, testing, evaluations and validations. Server migrations including but not limited to platform/ OS upgrades, P2V/V2V.
Application Support (ASUP) Level 4 to 5; and/or IT Infrastructure (ITOP) Level 2 to 3
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree, or Diploma or Certificate IV or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering; and
A qualification in one or more of the following (or a commensurate number of years' experience in):
a. Linux (Red Hat Certified System; Administrator (RHCSA) or Windows. b. CCNA Network Associate or equivalent.
c. Juniper Network Security or equivalent.
