Primary Purpose:
To manage the procurement and supply of raw material required for production, including provision of technical advice in the production process and research and development of alternate substrates.
Responsibilities:
- Secure substrate and commodity supply by monitoring prices and negotiating rates.
- Manage supplier relationships, contract performance, and mitigate market risks.
- Oversee logistics, storage, and distribution of raw materials.
- Provide technical guidance to operations teams and represent the company in industry forums.
- Collaborate internally and externally to drive innovation and strengthen partnerships.
- Strong technical knowledge of printing supply chains and paper manufacturing.
- Experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management, particularly with essential procurement experience for critical raw materials.
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work across departments.
