The Role
We're seeking a Supply and Distribution Manager to join our team in Arundel, Gold Coast. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing our supply chain operations, including purchasing, storage, and distribution. You'll ensure efficient flow of goods while minimizing costs and maintaining optimal stock levels. If you're a detail-oriented professional with a passion for logistics, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Determine, implement, and monitor purchasing, storage, and distribution strategies.
- Maintain optimal stock levels at minimum cost through effective planning and negotiation.
- Coordinate with suppliers to meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Monitor storage and inventory systems to control stock levels and optimize efficiency.
- Track movements of supplies and goods, ensuring timely reordering and restocking.
- Liaise with other departments and customers regarding outbound goods and transportation.
- Oversee recording of purchase, storage, and distribution transactions.
- Direct and support staff to ensure efficient operations within the supply chain team.
Qualifications
- At least two years of proven experience in supply chain management or related field.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or related field preferred.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Salary Range
$65,000 $75,000 AUD plus superannuation
