Responsibilities:
A real endeavour, shaped by you
The Technical Writer will produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience, with adherence to Defence writing standard whilst also effectively prioritise work and deliverables according to specified timeframes.
To succeed in this endeavour, you will:
- Responsible for supporting high quality business analytics solutions in an Agile context to deliver capability for the warfighter.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation to support Test & Evaluation (T&E) and Verification & Validation (V&V) activities and processes.
- Work in conjunction with other the Support and Technical teams to develop Standard Operating Procedures and Knowledge Based Articles.
- Analyse and document business/functional processes and requirements using standard analysis methodologies and tools.
- Complete project work stream deliverables including quality control/sign off for area of accountability.

Our work is highly complex and confidential, so there are some things you must have to fulfil this role:
- You must hold a current NV1 security clearance or higher.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience working in the Defence environment, preferably on ICT and/or Network-centric projects;
- A minimum of 5 years' experience working as either a BA or Technical Writer;
- Experience in supporting and evaluating multi-vendor solutions;
- Experience and demonstrated ability to identify and control risks in the ICT context;
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams in a complex project environment.
