We have a fantastic opportunity to join a leading utility provider where you will supporting a large scale capability uplift program. As the Technical Writer you will be working along side the change function of the business in leveraging the existing business process, high-level requirements, vendor transfer knowledge and develop clear communication to support the development of work instructions. This is a nine month engagement working towards the completion of a large transformation program of work.
Key responsibilities and duties includes:
- Developing documentation that meets projects standards
- Translating complex information into tangible and engaging content
- Develop user-friendly content including system screen shots and referencing material which will meet the needs of targets audiences, turning insights into language for user success
- Develop and maintain reference materials
- Evaluate current content and development innovative methods for improvement
- Gather information from key stakeholder and develop, organise and write procedure manuals, instructions, technical specifications, document process maps and reference guides as required
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills and ability to develop rapport with stakeholder groups
- Experience in understanding technical design concepts and supporting technical teams (translating technical requirements into business solutions)
- Utilities experience and/or credit management, metering and call centre functions would be advantageous
- JIRA and Confluence experience
