The Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Environmental Technician with demonstrated experience motivating and working in a team of Environmental professionals to deliver high-quality environmental solutions and results at our Lake Vermont project, located in Dysart.

Working a 9-day fortnight roster and reporting to the Technical Services Manager, your duties will include:   

• Soil sampling and top-soil stripping
• Rehabilitation management
• Provide support to the site Environmental Advisor Ensuring environmental programs, initiatives and innovations are effectively communicated and promoted to strengthen the culture with the business 
• Assisting with Co-ordinating environmental monitoring, inspection and auditing programs and maintain associated documentation and records 

About you

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:

• Site based experience (with mining exposure preferred)
• Competent user of Microsoft office suite mainly Excel
• Strong work ethic with a positive can- do attitude
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross functional teams as well as autonomously to deliver objectives
