- This is a permanent full-time position based at the Charlton Depot.
- The base salary for this position is $1,167.57 - $1,284.31 gross per week, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation.

About the Fleet Maintenance Team:The Fleet Workshop is a modern workshop facility that services and maintains Council assets ranging from
Small Plant through to large earthmoving machinery.The Fleet Maintenance team ensure that our internal customers and external stakeholders receive excellent customer service to ensure Council assets maintain their operational requirements with limited interruption to the service they provide.The Fleet Maintenance Management section oversees the servicing and repair of all fleet assets in workshops located at Principal Depot, Greenmount, Pittsworth, Millmerran, Goombungee and Crows Nest as well as mobile service and repair units working from these workshops. Maintenance Management also coordinate and deliver metal fabrication services across the region.How to be successful in this position:Qualification(s), training and/or experience, specific to the role:
- Certificate III Outdoor Power Equipment Technology from a recognised Tertiary Institution or equivalent qualification.
- Current “C” Class Driver’s Licence.
- WHS Competency (White Card) for CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry, or equivalent, or a willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
- Test and Tag qualification, if not held must be obtained within six (6) months of commencement.
- Current Certificate in Confined Space Entry, if not held must be obtained within six (6) months of commencement.
