What You Can Expect - The Opportunity
The purpose of this role is to provide support and service to our customers in line with our Rental & Safety Services offers.
The role is FIFO Perth to Karratha (10 hour shifts on site) so will ideally suit someone based out of Perth so they can really take advantage of those 2 weeks off and avoid the extra travel but we are open to those further afield.
Responsibilities will include:
• Undertaking the maintenance, repair & testing of safety products and equipment to ensure the equipment is properly maintained
• Maintenance of accurate service records to provide traceability of maintenance documentation
• Ensure all service work is conducted on time
• Ensuring mobilisation, operation and demobilisation of Safety Service projects are handled in line with procedures
• Provide written documentation of operating time, performance records, unusual events. Provide a history of work time, invoice costs and reports on project
• Deliver Draeger certified and nationally accredited training courses to internal and external customers
• Performs all work with the safety and comfort of everyone as a priority and conforming to HS&E standards
What are we looking for?
• Preferably a trade tertiary qualification and two or more years post trade experience & competency
• Four plus years of job-related experience in a similar position
• Computer skills – Microsoft Windows applications, Pointout & Outlook
• Ability to handle multi-tasks simultaneously
• Extensive experience in a customer service environment
• Analytical & problem-solving skills
• Interpersonal skills, particularly negotiating & facilitation, to identify customer needs and ways to satisfy them
• Ability to develop knowledge of the products & services of Draeger Safety
• Experience working under pressure and organising work priorities to meet deadlines
