Technology Category / Procurement Manager - Up to $175,000 Super

Opportunity for experienced Tech Category / Procurement Manager to join a growing procurement team within a leading ASX listed organiation!

My client, a leading ASX listed organisation, is seeking a Category / Procurement Manager specialising in managing Technology categories of spend (hardware, software, cloud, cyber etc) to join their procurement function which is undergoing a major transformation.
Responsibilities:

• End-to-end management of assigned Technology / Digital Services categories of spend.
• Support the organisation to achieve operational goals through the delivery of commercially astute and efficient category and procurement strategies.
• Organise end to end procurement activities in consultation with key stakeholders to deliver sustainable value and benefits to the business.
• Conduct the full range of sourcing processes from identification of requirements through to contract negotiation, execution and post contract award management, while utilising Strategic Procurement & Supply Chain systems and processes effectively.
• Support bid teams and the acquisition of new business through the provision of effective and current outline agreements, rate cards and contracts.
• Assist in full tender / bid management where required, commercial and contractual aspects, overall programming, and ensure programs deliver against business objectives within required period and budget.

Requirements:

• Relevant Commerce, Business qualifications or equivalent experience.
• Deep knowledge of Technology Procurement
• A proven track record in strategic procurement and benefits delivery.
• Demonstrated experience working in a central Technology Procurement role / department.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Well developed commercial acumen with high level negotiation ability with suppliers and stakeholders.

This position will be based in North Sydney by the train station, with flexible working arrangements, involving 3 days a week in the office and 2 days a week working from home.
