Mechanical Fitter -$50 Per Hour

Mechanical Fitter required in Loganholme, commencing immediately.

Workfast are currently working on behalf of a client who are leaders in air pollution control, service & maintenance, consumable and equipment.
Our client is currently looking for Mechanical Plumbers/Fitters and Team Leaders to commence ASAP in Loganholme, QLD.
What you will be doing -

• Mechanical fitting duties within a site-based environment
• Servicing and maintaining all onsite machinery
• Opportunities to work on projects multiple projects
• Supporting site teams with their project based requirements
• Working alongside other trades
• Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools, as well as specialised equipment related to locomotives and mining equipment.

What you need -

• Must have Certificate III in Engineering (or equivalent trade qualification)
• Previous experience as a Mechanical Plumber/Fitter
• Hold a white card (preferred)
• Knowledge on fault finding
• Have own tools (preferred)
• Be a team player but have the ability to work autonomously
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings

What you get -

• $50 per hour + penalties
• Able to start next week
• Monday to Friday, 6.30am to 4pm with the occasional Saturday
