  • Provide Level 1 - Level 3 help desk support to a growing business

  • Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 depending on experience  
About the role

Our client’s APAC IT team work collaboratively to deliver commercial and practical IT solutions to their internal staff. They embrace the opportunity to drive change through the business and are motivated to enable the firm to achieve its strategic priorities. The Technology Support Specialist will engage and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders in Melbourne, to deliver a successful and professional outcome to a range of IT and Technology related scenarios.
  
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver operational excellence and governance ensuring all IT issues are logged in a timely fashion, documented, and followed through within the agreed service level commitment.
  • Implement and maintain desktop software and hardware - including product upgrades and deployment roadmaps for computers, laptops, printers and mobile phones (iPhone).
  • Firm Dashboard reporting - delivering reporting updates to stakeholders' requirements and issue resolution within the committed timeline.
  • Maintain Windows Operating Systems - including product updates and upgrades to schedules, building and managing SOE images, providing resolutions to incidents and issues in the agreed timeframes.
  • Networking and Security - Deliver resolutions to incidents and issues in the agreed timeframes, provide support to audio visual equipment, and fulfil staff on-boarding and off-boarding process requirements.
  • Develop and deliver technology training to staff, including induction and various system upgrades.
  • Assist team members in delivering IT projects. 
  • Provide meeting support where required, organising WebEx and audio connections for presentations.
Essential
  • Previous experience operating in a similar role within a corporate environment
  • Familiarity with ITIL best practices and a willingness to apply them.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and resolution skills.
  • Be self-motivated and willing to learn and enhance relevant skills.
  • Must be well presented and have strong communication skills
