AddressA client of ours in the renewable energy space is looking for a new Technology Manager who will lead the vision, strategy and delivery of cutting edge solutions that align with the organisational goals. This organisation has a number of offices/sites across Australia and would require someone comfortable dealing with multi-site complexities that come with this type of environment. You would also lead a small team of direct reports and collaborate across broader project teams, whilst managing recruitment, budgets, and operations. You will be someone who can work with diverse groups of stakeholders, vendors, and be able to influence and build teams. You are someone who enjoys being a visionary and is very adept at transforming business for the better through IT solutions. There is plenty of growth on the horizon so you'd be comfortable managing a small environment and scaling up.
Requirements:
- Define and lead the technology strategy, ensuring alignment with the business objectives
- Propose technology initiatives that are fit for purpose and recommendations (including hardware and software solutions) in close collaboration with business stakeholders that foster innovation to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience
- Provide visionary leadership and guidance to the IT division and build and lead teams of engineers/operational staff
- Enhance and maintain systems, information and cyber security, regulatory compliance, data capabilities, etc
- Maintain an agile and responsive team of IT professionals
- Establish and oversee governance, risk and compliance, policies, procedures that guide the IT department
- Ensure it's a technology-driven environment with timely delivery of projects, setting up the right structures within the portfolio
- Extensive experience in progressive leadership at a Technology Executive level
- Proven experience in complex environments, managing several concurrent projects
- Comprehensive technical knowledge across information systems, SaaS systems, working with vendors to implement solutions and broader technology initiatives
- Strong knowledge of cloud, cyber security, policies, and standards.
- Very strong visionary type leadership with a transformative mindset
- Deep experience in financial forecasting and optimisation of IT budgets
- Advanced level negotiation, conflict resolution and influencing skills
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field. Certifications in CISM, CISSP handy
