The Role
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Technical Implementations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the technical implementation of our WMS/TMS solutions, delivered by a global team of technical consultants reporting to you. You will ensure seamless rollouts for our customers by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and maintaining the highest standards for all technical aspects of the implementation. This position reports to our COO and is based at our head office in Pymble, NSW.

On your first day, you have the following:
- Extensive technical expertise in the core technologies and tools utilised by the team, with a strong understanding of system integration, cloud platforms, and the implementation of secure fit-for-purpose solutions.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction with the delivered solutions.
- Handle conflict resolution with all stakeholders effectively.
- Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures to ensure deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
- Develop scalable solutions and processes adaptable to different regions and project sizes, while encouraging and implementing innovative ideas to enhance both processes and Technical Solutions.
- Develop a long-term vision for the technical team, aligning it with the company's strategic goals and market demands.
- Maintain composure under pressure, managing stress effectively and leading by example.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Over 10 years of proven experience in Technical Leadership, specialising in SaaS product delivery within globally-operating companies.
- Previous experience within the Warehousing or Logistics domains would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, performing advanced data manipulation and aggregation, with extensive experience in database design, schema architecture, and SQL optimisation techniques to ensure query performance and system scalability.
- Extensive knowledge of API development and management (RESTful, SOAP), API gateways, and authentication mechanisms (OAuth, API Keys), with experience in EDI standards and protocols, FTP/SFTP, file transfer security, data encryption, integrating systems across diverse platforms, and using XSLT for XML data transformations.
- TOGAF, Zachman or similar enterprise architecture certification would be a definite plus.
- Previous project management exposure or certifications would be handy.
- Comprehensive understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Working Conditions
- Whilst the usual work time is during normal business hours Monday through Friday, responsibilities sometimes require working evenings and weekends to meet timelines agreed with stakeholders.
- Occasional local and international travel will be required.
