Technology Platforms Manager

* 12-month contract
* Multi-Cloud Environment - Predominantly AWS
* Role comprising of team management, strategy, and hands-on engineering

A great opportunity for a strong Technology Platforms Manager to join a leading Property Management Fund at a critical point in its history. In this role you will be responsible for leading the infrastructure and cloud team, delivering operational excellence, and helping develop the ongoing strategy.

This role requires a leader who comes from an infra/cloud engineering background, to work alongside the GM of IT Operations to implement strategies, manage vendors, and ensure efficient infrastructure performance to support the wider business.

Responsibilities:

* You'll manage infrastructure delivery, operations, and performance, as well as implementing strategies for efficient platform utilisation.
* Manage the Platforms team, manage vendor relationships, and foster collaboration across the wider IT team.
* Collaborate on strategic technology initiatives, deliver infrastructure for projects, and ensure successful service transitions.
* Integrate security into infrastructure, design cybersecurity metrics, and drive disaster recovery readiness.
* Define and report on product metrics that need to be measured against performance targets.

About you:

* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position, effectively managing an Infrastructure/Cloud team.
* Strong technical background with Cloud technologies, broad knowledge of infrastructure technologies, as well as having a good understanding of risk management.
* Excellent stakeholder management, and ability to leverage key relationships.
* Proven commercial awareness including planning, budgeting, and management of third party vendors.
* Ability to construct and negotiate commercial agreements and manage third party service performance to agreed SLA's.
