Technology Project Manager - M365 / Intune / Ms Teams / Sharepoint

We currently have a daily rate contract available for an experienced Technical Project Manager who comes from a background delivering M365 / O365 implementation and enhancement type projects, ideally with a background delivering solutions across a business systems landscape within and Enterprise level organization.
 
To be successful in this role & environment, you’ll be required to be a true influencer and advisor across the implementation of Microsoft related technology components, and will have a background where you have gone into organizations to manage projects implementing the Microsoft products such as O365, InTune, SharePoint, Exchange Online, MS Teams and Microsoft Apps across the M365 ecosystem, and ideally will have experience working with organisation to support moving them away from on-premise setups to the new cloud driven Microsoft 365 suite, with experience working with implementing collaboration tools such as MS Teams and delivering MVP’s.
 
You will manage the delivery and implementation of Microsoft365 solutions into an Enterprise level environment, and support uptake to the business, gaining buy-in from key business sponsors, support change management aspects, right through to business acceptance & deployment. This includes translating the business requirements to the deployment of personnel, overseeing and motivating staff, ensuring timely delivery from the vendors and working with the internal technology teams.
 
Day to day responsibilities:

• Establishing and managing effective project operations to deliver quality outcomes.
• Managing a team(s) of project employees operating on complex cross functional solutions with numerous internal and external stakeholders.
• Managing the selected Vendor to support the Microsoft Office365 (M365) implementation & enhancement projects.
• Direct all activities for the deployment of projects including translating business requirements into people, process and technology changes to the agreed cost, quality and timeframe.
• Controlling project design and planning activities associated with cross functional wholesale and retail solutions.
• Defining, sourcing & managing necessary project resources.
• Controlling project schedules to ensure that necessary modules and programs are completed according to the project plan.
• Preparing project budgets, attaining necessary approvals in a timely manner and monitoring project financials.
• Effectively controlling and managing the issues, risks, dependencies and changes in scope
• Exceeding stakeholder expectations through the application of stakeholder and change management disciplines.
• Developing and managing technology vendor contracts & agreements associated with projects under management.

Skills & experience required:

• Strong Technology driven Project Management experience working in Enterprise level environments.
• Ability to be an influential expert in support of the delivery of Microsoft Office365 implementations, upgrades and enhancements.
• Proven background working as a Project Manager delivering projects that are Microsoft technology related in nature, including InTune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive and Microsoft Apps.
• Project delivery experience across M365, including collaboration tools such as MS Teams.  
• A strong ability to influence and gain buy-in from business stakeholders.
• Extensive Project Management, with hands on implementation, support and troubleshooting experience, Microsoft and Project Management certifications preferred.
• A results-oriented mindset capable of delivering timely results through measurable outcomes.

This is a pivotal role within the organization and has recently been created so this represents an excellent contract opportunity that will initially begin as a 6 month engagement, to then extend further throughout the course of the program that could lead into 2025.
