Key responsibilities are;
- Perform daily health check of infrastructure
- Analyse and report on trends of equipment health and functionality.
- Update monitoring tools to include newly commissioned infrastructure.
- Assist with the co-ordination and support of contractors and staff completing onsite works.
- Attend site to resolve technical faults, complete ad-hoc maintenance or project work.
- Read, interpret and update documentation as required.
- Compile test plans and execute change management
- Comply to organisational safety requirements.
The position requires the candidate to be have experience and qualifications in the following areas;
- High level of experience and knowledge in the following areas:
- Analogue radio systems
- Digital radio systems (DMR)
- Point to Point Microwave systems
- Point to Multipoint systems
- Building management systems (BMS),
- UPS systems
- Solar power systems.
- Experience in IP based phone systems, IP networks and network management systems is desirable.
- Experience in design, installation, commissioning, and change management, both in onsite and remote situations.
- Very strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Very strong communication and inter personal skills.
- Minimum 4 years' industry experience.
- Qualifications as a minimum should be;
- Recognised qualifications in communications, Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent.
- Registered ACMA cabling license
