One of our clients, Unitech Networks Pty Ltd is seeking a Telecommunications Field Engineer, looking to join their team. Unitech Networks PTY LTD is a distinguished telecommunications company specializing in NBN and Telstra Optical Fibre Networks. They excel in the seamless installation and configuration of Telecommunications Equipment, demonstrating an adept ability to trace and rectify faults within Optical Networks. As proud contractors for Fulton Hogan, they play a pivotal role in the implementation of NBN BDOD Projects. Additionally, they actively contribute to NBN N2P initiatives in collaboration with UNICORN INFRA, serving as a trusted subcontractor under VENTIA. Their commitment to excellence and proficiency in telecommunications services positions them as a valuable partner in the industry. This is a field role that requires frequently traveling to remote areas to install and maintain equipment. The details for the role are posted below :
Position: Telecommunications Field Engineer
Base Salary: $70,000 - $72,000 + superannuation
Address: 22 Wicker Street, Werribee, VIC 3030
The main duties for the role are
1. Strategize and blueprint intricate telecommunications networks.
2. Oversee and supervise the deployment of telecommunications equipment, ensuring seamless commissioning.
3. Offer expert technical advice and guidance to both clients and colleagues.
4. Diagnose and resolve intricate issues within telecommunications systems.
5. Conduct on-site inspections and travel to remote locations for equipment installation and maintenance.
6. Rigorously test and troubleshoot network components and equipment for optimal functionality.
7. Uphold compliance with industry standards and regulations.
8. Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to implement projects successfully.
9. Maintain accurate documentation detailing network configurations and any changes made.
10. Keep abreast of the latest advancements in telecommunications technology to ensure cutting-edge solutions.
To be accepted for this role:
1. 2 years of professional working experience
2. Bachelor’s degree or higher in telecommunications, Electrical Engineering or any other relevant field
3. Must have full-working rights to work in Australia, Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents preferred.
