Our client, a leader in end-to-end engineering, construction, and maintenance services, is seeking experienced Telecommunications Riggers to join their Victorian team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a major Telco project, commencing in early March 2024.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with our client's policies and procedures, including the Lifting Equipment and Operations procedure.
- Contribute to the development and revision of work instructions, procedures, and lifting plans.
- Register lifting equipment as required.
- Actively participate in creating lift study plans with appropriate risk assessments.
- Maintain a regular inspection program for dogging and rigging equipment.
- Develop plans and risk assessments for complex rigging activities.
- Promptly notify supervision of statutory inspections.
- Safeguard rigging equipment storage facilities and follow prescribed procedures.
- All certifications & licenses to perform the role
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Full working rights in Australia
- 3+ years of experience as a Telecommunications Rigger.
- Basic rigging qualification is required.
- Previous wireless experience is essential.
- Driver’s Licence.
- Ability to work unsupervised or require minimal supervision.
- Good safety record.
- Proactively seek continuous improvement in performance, deliverables, and work efficiencies.
- Ability to effectively work as part of a team.
- Proven compliance and commitment to health and safety procedures.
