Telecommunications Rigger

Our Client is Now Hiring Lead Telecommunications Riggers in North Victoria.

Our client, a leader in end-to-end engineering, construction, and maintenance services, is seeking experienced Telecommunications Riggers to join their Victorian team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a major Telco project, commencing in early March 2024.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with our client's policies and procedures, including the Lifting Equipment and Operations procedure.
• Contribute to the development and revision of work instructions, procedures, and lifting plans.
• Register lifting equipment as required.
• Actively participate in creating lift study plans with appropriate risk assessments.
• Maintain a regular inspection program for dogging and rigging equipment.
• Develop plans and risk assessments for complex rigging activities.
• Promptly notify supervision of statutory inspections.
• Safeguard rigging equipment storage facilities and follow prescribed procedures.

Requirements:

• All certifications & licenses to perform the role
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Full working rights in Australia
• 3+ years of experience as a Telecommunications Rigger.
• Basic rigging qualification is required.
• Previous wireless experience is essential.
• Driver’s Licence.
• Ability to work unsupervised or require minimal supervision.
• Good safety record.
• Proactively seek continuous improvement in performance, deliverables, and work efficiencies.
• Ability to effectively work as part of a team.
• Proven compliance and commitment to health and safety procedures.
