We are seeking all-round telco riggers or a new start trainee rigger for our Telco Maintenance department.

About us: 

HVAC Telco Maintenance provide high level inspections (physically and with drones), maintenance, and repairs to all different types of critical telecommunications infrastructure including property maintenance, environmental, structural, civil, rigging, electrical, technical services and more with an array of differing telecommunications providers.

Based in Redbank QLD, you will need to be comfortable behind the wheel as we service everywhere in the state of Queensland & the Northern Territory.

We will provide: 

An equipped 4WD with the tech, tools & PPE to get the job done safely and the first time.

For our already qualified riggers we will offer upskill training to further your career. And for our trainee, all the training required to get you going in the role including working at heights, tower rescue, first aid, doggers, riggers and advanced 4wding for example to name a few.

At HVAC Telco Maintenance we are paperless and complete all our reports using technology-based items and systems, so you need to be fairly tech savvy.

About you: - 

            Riggers:

• You know the ins and outs of climbing and working on and around telco structures, looking for and reporting on defects and other maintenance issues.
• Willingness to travel. Our year of work is set out, you will know well in advance when it’s time for away work (usually 2-3 months spread out over the year with some interesting locations).
• You are a problem solver, thorough and can follow process and procedures to give the best inspection reports and results to our clients.
• Ability to work autonomously and plan your day/week/months with scheduled works (training will be provided).
• Previous telco rigging, associated telco training, grounds maintenance and ability for general repairs will be looked at favourably.

Trainee:

• Comfortable being or working at heights (we climb, maintain, and inspect mobile phone and communications towers).
• Can think on the spot and work out reasonable solutions for various issues.
• Willingness to travel. Our year of work is set out, you will know well in advance when it’s time for away work (usually 2-3 months spread out over the year).
• Willing to learn and stick to process and procedures (safety, client requirements).
• Previous grounds maintenance and general repairs will be looked at favourably.
• Previous working at heights works experience will be also looked at favourably.

All the training, support, and above-mentioned equipment along with good remuneration reflecting your experience will be provided to the successful candidates.
