About the role:

Reporting to the State Field Manager – VIC, this role forms a vital part of the Independent and Emerging Markets Sales Team. 
  
The key purpose of the Outbound Telesales Consultant is to drive additional sales growth via increased contact with Independent stores nationally. This role is to compliment the frontline sales territory plans and will be assisting with the pre-sell and selling of pre-determined sales deals and product offers via telephone across all categories and order processing direct to Metcash.

Please note this is a part-time role of 30.4 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Completing outbound calls across a specific set of retail customers
  • Selling promotions & deal across our range to support achievement of sales targets
  • Building & maintaining trusting relationships with customers
  • Providing customer service excellence
  • Accurate order processing, data entry and maintenance
