About the Role
WHA are seeking a talented, dynamic and results driven part-time (3 days per week) Tender Writer / Marketing Officer to join our team. The successful incumbent will play a pivotal role in driving our company's growth by preparing compelling tender proposals and responses. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and effectively communicate our value proposition in written form.
The Tender Writer / Marketing Officer is also responsible for preparing written articles, verifying data and maintaining social medial channels for WHA, often in conjunction with external agencies, designing and implementing web content, managing website updates, and ensuring currency of information. The objectives of this role include maintaining high standards of tender information, marketing processes and continuous improvement within the organisation. This role requires a high level of competency in communication skills, particularly media and writing complex documents with the ability to simultaneously manage a number of key priorities in a fast-paced environment.
The Tender Writer / Marketing Officer will predominately work from home and at other WHA facilities as required.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Write, edit and proofread tender proposals, ensuring compliance with client requirements, deadlines and quality standards
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather relevant information, data and resources needed for tender submissions
- Manage the end-to-end tender process, from capability review to outcome debriefing, actively contributing to the improvement of our bid processes and success rates
- Execute marketing plans to promote WHA's services, targeting key markets and customer segments
- Conduct market research to analyse emerging trends, customer needs and our competitive landscape
- Cross collaborate with internal teams to develop marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations and promotional materials
- Assist to manage digital marketing channels, including website content and updates, social media, campaigns and online advertising, to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications or related field
- Proven experience in marketing
- Strong writing skills with the ability to prepare compelling and persuasive content for tender proposals
- Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
- Analytical mindset with the ability to gather, analyse and interpret data to inform marketing strategies and decision making
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines
- Design/Adobe creative cloud experience desirable (but not essential).
