Strategic Communications Officer (APS6)
The APS6 Strategic Communications Officer is a leadership role within the Agency, entrusted with the authority and responsibility to address and mitigate issues and risks across various activities. This position demands strong leadership, strategic planning, resource management, performance management, and decision-making capabilities to guide the team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Champion plain English to ensure all materials are accessible and align with the Agency's style and branding guidelines.
- Lead by example, serving as a trusted communications expert to support key internal stakeholders and business partners in achieving project objectives.
- Draft clear, concise, and impactful messaging for diverse audiences, including creating talking points and speeches.
- Contribute to the development and execution of comprehensive communication plans, managing approvals and coordinating go-live collateral.
- Foster and maintain crucial internal stakeholder relationships, addressing and resolving any emerging challenges.
- Evaluate the impact of communications, extract valuable insights, and assess if the objectives of each project have been met.
- Support team members with administrative, technical, and procedural tasks.
The APS5 Communications Officer is a vital team member role, supporting the APS6 officer and contributing to the successful execution of the Agency's communication strategies.

$60.26 per hour + Super APS5 $ 55.24 per hour plus super
