About the role:
We are searching for a highly organised Tenders Coordinator with amazing attention to detail to join AWB’s high-performing tendering team.
Reporting to the Business Support Manager, this fulltime, permanent role will be responsible for driving the end-to-end tender process, including assisting with tender development, bid writing, design and creation of new documentation, maintenance and upkeep of qualitative documents and criteria.
Key responsibilities:
- Raising tenders in AWB system
- Identifying possible opportunities in line with AWB’s capabilities
- Managing tender correspondence- addenda, site meetings, registering for tender documents and any other tendering related administration duties
- Accurately distributing tender material to all stakeholders (AWB Management, subcontractors, and clients)
- Preparing comprehensive tender documentation including technical proposals, project plans and schedules
- Reviewing RFT documentation for management
- Maintaining currency of the following documentation: Certificates, Compliance Letters, Licenses, Project profiles, Personnel profiles, Previous Experience etc.
- Acting as a point of contract in the coordination of multiple stakeholders and collate their relevant commercial input to submissions
- Assisting with all bid/tender writing, liaising with technical staff where required
- Assisting with the creative design and production of marketing material
- Assist with project administration ocasionally
Preferred candidates will have the following:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
- Minimum 2 years tendering experience
- Experience in working to strict time frames in fast-paced environments and on multiple tenders simultaneously
- Proven knowledge of the construction industry
- Previous experience in tendering for government and commercial projects.
- Advanced computer knowledge and high proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail
- Strong organisation and time management skills
