THE ROLE & OPPORTUNITY
Due to our continued growth and expansion, we are currently seeking an experienced Document Controller to lead and co-ordinate the development and submission of quality tenders.
Your overall responsibilities
- Scan for suitable tender opportunities through online registers including company supply portals, Project Connect, ICN, EPA and others.
- Review incoming tender requests and prepare for approval to proceed.
- Prepare tender submission, taking the lead for all preparation activities and collaborating with Bid Lead, department Leads and Management.
- Ensure all tender deliverables conform to client requirements and are presented at the highest professional standards.
- Act as the primary communication link between Aerison and Client during the tender period, ensuring information is shared in a timely and professional manner to all necessary parties.
- Manage data entry and ongoing updates in CRM including follow-ups with Aerison Bid Leads and direct client engagement where necessary. Handle sensitive information, ensuring access and distribution is limited to appropriate personnel.
- Uphold the requirements of the Aerison Precontracts Procedure
- Preparation of marketing material related to tender and EOI submissions.
- Use of time management tools including Bid Tracker document and Tender Preparation program to communicate progress and manage multiple-party involvement
- Attend meetings and record information as required.
- Contribute to the broader activities within the Aerison Group which may include marketing and sales functions.
To be successful in this role, you will require the following experience and qualifications-
- Business Certificate or Equivalent certificate of studies
- Experience with business/technical writing, tender writing.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position
- Advanced Computer skills encompassing: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project / office, Outlook.
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills
