We are a pioneering marine services business, and we're seeking a Senior Tender Coordinator to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping our success. Reporting to the Commercial Manager – Geosolutions, this role will work to promote effective internal and external stakeholder engagement. You will also coordinate and lead various tenders from standard responses to complex and high value packages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full integration of the various Company service lines in the tender process, as required.
- Analyse scope of work and interpret survey/engineering drawings and project specifications to prepare estimates for pricing, project plans and schedules, budgets, procurement, materials plant and equipment, labour costs etc in line with Client requirements.
- Upon award, transfer ownership of the contract from the tendering team to the project and operations team, through a formal handover process.
- Liaise with clients to seek feedback and follow up opportunities for the Company upon project completion.
- Relevant bachelor degree or equivalent.
- Evidence of prior formal training relevant to this role
- High level of communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders across the business and network with Client’s and third party stakeholders.
- Communication & interpersonal skills – sound level of self-awareness, ability to obtain cooperation and relevant information from colleagues, and a strong focus on communicating in a clear and concise manner.
- Proven experience with project estimation, developing project plans and schedules.
- Developed commercial acumen to effectively interpret and analyse client requirements.
- Proven work experience in a relevant industry role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly MS Excel
- Demonstrable analytical capabilities
- Solid experience in tender proposal submission leading complex subsea and offshore tenders through to award
- Commercial Management (preferred)
- Exposure/understanding to subsea survey (Geophysical / Geotechnical), inspection and maintenance operations (preferred)
