Alliance Safety Equipment (ASE) is seeking a full-time engaged, self-driven and customer focused person to join our dynamic team as our Territory Manager.
Our goal is to enable people to be safe in the workplace and to assist our customers in the prevention of occupational disease and injuries. We partner with the best manufacturers and product specialists to supply quality safety products which are fit for purpose. Our specialty is the technical aspects of safety which is provided through sales, service and hire of confined space entry, height safety and rescue equipment.
Our approach to meeting our customers' needs is simple: we listen, and we communicate.
We are seeking an experienced sales representative and/or people who have experience in a technical or service role related to the industry.
The key accountabilities for this role are:
Learn and maintain in depth product knowledge
Actively engage with customers to build and maintain positive relationships within the geographic territory
Actively seek new business through, but not limited to, networking, cold calling, researching and following leads
Answer incoming sales calls and customer service enquiries including showroom sales
Complete quotes and sales orders
Develop and maintain positive relationships with distributors and/or suppliers
Ensure positive customer outcomes and satisfaction
Contribute to an effective team
The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, energetic person with excellent communication skills, high levels of organisation, presentation and problem solving.
A manual driver's licence and the ability to obtain a forklift licence are also essential for this role.
