About the Role
As part of this highly varied and dynamic role, you will be responsible for executing the account and brand plans across a geographical territory of retail supermarkets (Independent Grocery, Coles and Woolworths).
Your key objectives will be to maximise ranging, implement category focussed layouts and secure discretionary off location displays to drive sales through market leading brand executions.
Your role will be to contribute significantly to the achievement of budgeted sales and profit objectives for the Company through the effective management of your designated geographic territory of retail supermarkets.
As the Territory Manager, you will be responsible for the North / West region. You will be equipped with a fully maintained tool-of-trade (TOT) vehicle, as well as mobile phone, and laptop.
About You
We’re looking for someone with a background in Sales and/or Marketing, with a passion for and demonstrated ability to understand the industry and customers.
You’ll be a team player and have strong relationship building skills with both internal and external customers.
Your proven experience in FMCG sales, or experience gained within retailers and store (department manager experience) will be critical to your success in this role.
You will also have:
- Proven background in face-to-face sales or similar retail experience
- Results driven & self-motivated (autonomous)
- A friendly and approachable personality
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Ability to work in a busy, ever-changing role that has time critical actions required
