We are now inviting applications for the role of Territory Manager - Protective Coatings, based in our Beresfield office. The role will be responsible for promoting and selling a range of Protective Coatings products to new and existing Key customers/Key Accounts in a given country by developing strong customer relationships, liaising with the client market, and responding to sales and technical inquiries in order to achieve the budgeted sales, gross margin, DSO, and customer satisfaction targets, and to ensure that Jotun is seen as a preferred supplier of high-quality products, solutions, and services. The incumbent will report directly to the State Sales Manager (NSW).

Job responsibilities:
- Develop and seek the new business opportunities for the local market by targeting new customers in order to increase our market share and profitability.
- Introduce, promote and sell a range of Protective coatings products in assigned geographical territories through regular customer visits in order to maintain good relationships and obtain market information.
- Follow-up on projects within Newcastle by coordinating and monitoring closely with project personnel to ensure Jotun products are used in order to achieve sales budget.
- Troubleshoot, resolve and/or escalate specific customer problems
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery, good customer service and achieve company goals.
- Monitor collections to ensure customer payment is received within agreed term to achieve budgeted days outstanding.
- Execute assigned sales activities related to achieving current assigned targets in terms of volumes and gross margins by through customers by providing timely direct services to the customers in order to ensure that overall profitability is achieved by the company.
- Responsible for the market mapping and expansion in territory by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors in order to increase Jotun market share.
Skills and job requirements:
- Tertiary education with at least 2 years of relevant sales experience
- Experience in Protective Coatings
- Familiar with Australian local market for the industry
- Willing to travel
- Must hold full working rights in Australia (Australian citizen or Permanent Resident)
