We are a leading pump manufacturer specializing in providing pumping systems and packages for irrigation, agriculture, and building services industries. We are looking for a commercially savvy and technically competent Territory Manager to drive sales growth and develop relationships with key stakeholders across the OEM, Dealer and Plumbing merchant client base in NSW based from SYD or Wollongong.
Role Overview:
As a Territoy Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth through the development and management of relationships with end-users, consultants, and resellers in the agriculture, and building services sectors. You will have an understanding of fluid hydraulics and pumping systems, with the ability to provide technical application knowledge to customers. You will be a natural hunter with experience selling complex pumping systems and packages, and a solid understanding of building a pipeline for future revenue, unlike quick transactional sales.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive revenue growth through designated territory.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with end-users, reseller, consultants, and other key stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive customer loyalty and repeat business.
- Provide technical application knowledge to customers and consultants.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of future business opportunities.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop customized solutions for customers.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to customers and stakeholders at end-user level and also boardroom level
- Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering highly regarded although not necessary to apply. Very open to candidate with a trade or hands on pumping background.
- 5+ years solid sales experience in a technical sales role, preferably selling pumping systems and packages into irrigation and agricultural markets.
- Must have the ability to build new business.
- Experience selling into the Sydney metro and Illawarra client base.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and developing long-term relationships with customers.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
- Self-motivated and results-driven
- Willingness to travel as required.
