Territory Manager / Sales Rep - Food Wholesale To Independent Grocery

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with an Australian food-focused FMCG company as a Food Sales Representative within our NSW / ACT team.

We are offering a full-time position to an experienced Sales Representative to support our expanding customer base in Sydney NSW & Canberra ACT.

To thrive in our team, you must possess:

• A valid and up-to-date Australian Driver’s Licence.
• Previous experience in FMCG sales.
• Demonstrated success in effectively managing and expanding a customer portfolio.
• Capability to work independently.
• Excellent verbal communication and negotiation abilities.
• A collaborative and team-oriented mindset.

Role Description:

• Developing and growing sales within the nominated region in NSW/ACT, and regional NSW/ACT. The position does require traveling within a designated territory within Inner West Sydney, Sydney CBD, and Canberra ACT.
• Manage a range of established accounts within the territory.
• Ensure all stores in the territory are maintained and maximized.
• Analyse which stores may be underperforming & provide a strategy to turn them into high-performing stores.
• Ensure coverage of Territory is 100% whilst achieving set KPIs
• A heavy focus on acquiring new accounts in retail sectors. 
• Identify and provide strategies to win new business within the territory.
• Product Promotion, and assisting in new product launches.

Profile of Successful Applicant:

• Experience serving Independent Supermarkets is required.
• Exceptional sales and customer service skills.
• MSO experience required (Must have existing relationships with IGA Groups, Independent Groups).
• Hunter's attitude, with a strong goal achievement focus.
• Passionate about Independent Retailing.
• Desire to make a real difference in their Territory and work to build the businesses of their customers.
• Willingness to learn about a wide range of our products.
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a team to complete a task.
• A strong work ethic, effective self-management abilities, and good interpersonal skills are required.
• Reliable and excellent work ethic.
