My client is regarded as one of Australia’s leading manufacturers of high quality and industry leading civil and infrastructure engineered steel products. With offices across all major cities within Australia, the company has an extremely large and prevalent footprint both within the metro areas and regional areas of Australia. The company focuses on major projects primarily within the Tier 1 and Tier 2 space and have their own in house engineering team and manufacturing facility to allow them to design and provide custom solutions for all their clients needs.
The Role
Focusing within the companies Safety Barrier Systems division of the business, a key important role has become available for a Territory Manager/Major Accounts Manager within Sydney/NSW. Your role will be focused on forming relationships with local and interstate governments and councils, Tier 1 and Tier 2 developers and transport leaders to help grow the companies footprint within your territory, win new projects and oversee the development of products in your area.
This will be a complete autonomous role covering a large territory. You will work closely with councils and governments on providing products and technical custom solutions for their major projects. Products will include road safety barriers, industrial barriers, carpark barriers, MASH compliant products, work zone and safety products.
About You
This role will ideally suit someone who lives within the above-mentioned territories as you will be travelling between these areas. Ideally you will have current sales/account management experience within the civil industry supplying a manufactured product, however, if you have experience selling/dealing with councils and governments or selling a technical solution into industry, this will also be highly considered.
Key Points About You
- Experience within sales or account management
- Confident in dealing with councils and local governments
- Experience with safety barriers or civil products highly regarded
- Experience working on the tools within the above industry and wanting to move into sales is also regarded
- Able to travel and work autonomously
- Able to think critically and provide technical solutions
- Confident in managing a large profitable territory
On Offer
The company will provide product and industry training on top of the below package.
- Base salary $100k - $110K (negotiable on experience)
- Super at 11%
- Fully Maintained Company Vehicle with Fuel Card and Etag
