The Company:

Syngenta’s Professional Solutions brings Syngenta technologies and solutions to professionals in order to deliver beautiful and inspiring places where we live, work and play. Our Macspred business provides vegetation management solutions in forestry, roads, rail, utilities, infrastructure and aquatic areas. We have specialised in these non-crop industries for over 30 years researching and developing products specifically for these situations. 

The Role:

Reporting to the General Manager, the Territory Sales Manager will represent the company in the Forestry, Industrial and Aquatic Vegetation Management markets in Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania. This will involve executing annual business targets for the Syngenta Macspred business, building distributor and end user relationships through key account management. While providing outstanding customer service, this role will deliver technical support, commercial presentations stewardship and training seminars, field days, and commercial demonstrations.

The Person:

We are keen to hear from you if you possess:

  • At least 5 years proven Sales experience and working knowledge of territory or area management gained from any industry.
  • Previous experience in non-crop markets such as Road, Rail, Council/Shires, forestry and Aquatic vegetation management
  • Authentic relationship and customer management skills
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • A thirst for learning and willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Technical knowledge of crop protection products
  • Capability to use Salesforce as the CRM system.
  • Confidence in delivering presentations and the ability to support digital content.

To be successful in this home-based role, you will be organised with the ability to work autonomously. There is a requirement to manage an agenda for extensive travel to meet with customers or internal staff.
