Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) is seeking a Test analyst to join a small team of testers. Working to the Test Lead, Project Manager/s or Program Manager, the candidates should be adaptable, as allocation will be across different test phases of the project.
They must have ability to quickly learn new applications, with excellent time management skills to plan, execute and report on multiple projects with parallel deadlines.
As part of AMSA’s test team, the candidate will have the opportunity be part of AMSA’s digital transformation journey. They will contribute by testing new solutions and automating the existing solutions for regression. The person will work with bespoke and COTS technologies used for delivering AMSA’s services in Maritime Regulation. This includes, but is not limited to, existing middleware and platform upgrades, Dynamics(365), MS Teams, Power BI etc.
The role will be required to liaise and coordinate test activities with developers, business analyst, subject matter experts and end users across all divisions in AMSA.
Essential Criteria
- Provide a statement demonstrating how your skills and experience can successfully analyse requirements, plan & execute tests, raise & resolve defects in an organization.
- Demonstrate your ability and understanding of SDLC framework using Agile methodology.
- Provide an example demonstrating your ability and willingness to learn and adapt to changing technologies, roles and responsibilities within a transformative environment.
- Provide a statement demonstrating your ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Should have ISTQB Foundation certification
Desirable Criteria
- Knowledge of any testing tool such as JIRA, DevOps.
- Knowledge of COTS product such as Microsoft CRM.
- Knowledge of Azure.
