As an IT Test Analyst, you’ll be integral to supporting the implementation of project-led test management activities, IT technical change management and Release Management, relevant to Powerlink’s IT systems, applications, infrastructure, services, and processes. You will ensure that test management activities initiated by Business IT Programs and Projects are implemented efficiently, with a focus on business readiness.

• Liaise with IT Portfolio Test Specialist, Project Managers, and stakeholder groups to identify and prioritise testing requirements.
• Collaborate with senior team members and stakeholders to validate solution functionality, performance, and usability.
• Conduct analysis and assess troubleshooting of defects, providing detailed reports to contribute to the overall quality assurance process.
• Ensure testing requirements are understood, prepared for, and actioned in alignment with transition plans.
• Play a leading role in the test execution and business deployment of initiatives and support the transition into business-as-usual activity.
• Support Program leadership with technical change management and operational documents as required.

Based in Brisbane, you will be joining the Business IT & Digital Delivery group as part of the extensive IT Portfolio of Programs and Projects. This team thrives on a culture of high performance, where each member’s dedication to excellence is complemented by a strong emphasis on collaboration, ultimately fostering a dynamic and achievement-oriented environment.

• Degree level qualification in Management, Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or significant relevant experience in IT project management or IT service delivery.

With demonstrated experience in test management, with a particular focus on IT systems and processes, you will possess strong communication skills and can engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. You’ll apply your experience in test methodologies, tools, processes, and practices.

Demonstrating proven ability to manage emotions, motivations, and your impact on others, you will have a strong commitment to continuous learning and personal leadership.

We’d also love you to have:

• Test Management Certification such as software testing certification is desirable.
