Key Responsibilites: 1. Electrical Testing and Tagging:
Conduct regular electrical testing and Tagging of appliances, tools, and equipment according to Australian standards and regulations.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols during testing and Tagging processes.
2. Documentation and Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of all tested and Tagged equipment, including test dates, results, and any corrective actions taken.
Generate and provide test reports and certificates to clients as required.
3. Equipment Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance and calibration checks on testing equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
Identify and report any faulty testing equipment for prompt repair or replacement.
4. Compliance and Standards:
Stay up-to-date with the latest electrical safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
Ensure that all testing and Tagging activities comply with relevant Australian standards and legal requirements.
5. Client Communication:
Communicate effectively with clients to schedule testing appointments and provide information about the testing process.
Address client queries and concerns regarding electrical safety and compliance.
6. Fault Identification and Reporting:
Identify electrical faults, potential hazards, and unsafe equipment during testing.
Promptly report identified issues to the client and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
7. Client Training:
Offer basic training to clients on the safe use and maintenance of electrical equipment to prevent issues between testing intervals.
Educate clients on the importance of electrical safety and compliance.
8. Quality Assurance:
Implement quality assurance measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of testing and Tagging procedures.
Participate in periodic reviews and audits to maintain high-quality standards.
