Our Data#3 Professional Services team are seeking a skilledTest and Traceability Analyst to support one of our valued customers based in Victoria with an ongoing Azure migration project.
As a member of the Data#3 Professional Services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of this project by assisting with test regimes, platform testing, and demonstrating a strong understanding of Desired State Configuration (DSC) code.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop and implement comprehensive test regimes for the Azure migration project.
- Conduct platform testing to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of the migrated Azure environment.
- Ensure traceability of requirements, test cases, and defects throughout the testing process.
- Analyze test results and provide recommendations for improvements or optimizations.
- Work closely with developers and system administrators to troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth integration of DSC code.
- Document test procedures, findings, and outcomes for reference and future audits.
- Communicate effectively with the project team to provide regular updates on testing progress and any potential risks or issues.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in developing and executing test regimes for complex IT projects, preferably within the cloud migration domain.
- Strong background in platform testing, including hands-on experience with Azure or similar cloud platforms.
- Proficiency in understanding and working with Desired State Configuration (DSC) code for infrastructure automation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Flexible and adaptable mindset with a willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
- Ideally based in Melbourne, but open to remote candidates.
