We have exciting opportunities for multiple Embedded Test Engineers based in the Eastern Metropolitan Perth area. These positions offer six-month contracts with the potential for extension or transition into full-time roles.

As an Embedded Test Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to drive the improvement of product quality by following V-Model principles and applying integration, verification, validation, and test principles based on product requirements and team deliverables. You will create and execute test suites/plans through user or automated testing to ensure the reliability and functionality of our products.
Key Duties:
- Apply integration, verification, validation, and test principles based on product requirements.
- Create and execute test suites/plans through user or automated testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and reliability.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
- Experience in software testing, preferably for real-time and distributed systems in industrial applications (mining, marine, rail, automotive).
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Electrical, or Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience with V-Model development is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with requirement management tools (i.e., IBM DOORS, Siemens Polarion) is highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of software architecture design in redundant distributed systems.
- Understanding of network communications and protocols.
- Experience in testing software deployment strategies.
- Familiarity with operating systems deployed in industrial edge computing (i.e., QNX, SafeRTOS, Linux, etc.).
- Understanding of the full software development life cycle (documentation, requirements, testing, deployment, and traceability).
- Experience with software version control systems such as Git or SVN is essential.
