Test Manager

Length of Contract: 1 July 2024 – 30 June 2025 + extension options up to 30 June 2028 

Clearance Required: Baseline

Location: Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne (Box Hill), Penrith

Note* Travel may be required on an ad-hoc basis to attend associated workshops and meetings. All travel must be pre-approved in writing approval before being undertaken.

Role Overview: 

A Test Manager operates as part of the Test Quality Assurance team overseeing team coordination, reporting of test metrics and test closure activities, and be responsible for governance of testing activities and ensuring best practice, aligned to frameworks and industry standards. 

Services and Responsibilities

• Lead testing projects from establishment to closure. This includes determination of testing scope, stakeholder engagement, document management, test planning and scheduling. You will undertake function and system testing of the interfaces and systems. 
• Source and analyse design documents, and assist in the preparation, peer-review and execution of test scripts. 
• Management of complex issues, defects and incidents. 
• Provide direction to continuously improve test quality and assurance activities 
• Contribute to agile planning and test communities of practices to improve test standards and practices. 

Key Skills/attributes

• Sitecore Experience Platform (XP): Content and experience delivery including user experience management 
• Sitecore Content Hub: Content lifecycle including planning, production, collaboration and management 
• Coveo search: Site search and recommendation engine, natively integrated with Sitecore 
• Other components including Docker containerisation, JavaScript frameworks (Next J.S/React and .NetNode JS) etc. 
• Utilising Xamarin as the key technology. There are multiple development and test environments incorporating automated pipeline deployment.
