As a senior strategic, focussed leader, you will be responsible for defining and driving the Bank's Enterprise Testing and integrated environments. You will manage releases, policies, processes and frameworks for Testing generally and for each specialisation (performance, accessibility, data and data migration, service virtualisation). You will set the improvement programs for the year, and the associated targets that will be met. Most importantly you will be responsible for the successful change management associated with the uplift of capabilities across internal and external resources and stakeholders.

As a Competency Lead you'll get to...
- Develop and be the custodian of the Bank's enterprise testing frameworks. And how it interacts with the tools to automate as much as possible. This includes:
- Automated and Manual Testing Framework
- Performance and Accessibility Testing Framework
- Manual Testing Framework
- Service Virtualisation
- Data and Data migration testing
- Uplift the capability of each area of specialisation.
- Stay abreast of industry trends in the performance testing space.
- Work with the ET &IER leadership team to set metrics and approach to measurement for Practices, Services, delivery teams (supplier and internal) including.
- Level of automation
- Level of productivity
- Level of defect leakage and density.
- Work with the Technical Tool specialist to establish and continually improve the frameworks in the tools.
About you
- Experience in Test Management, including managing all facets of testing for medium to large, complex software projects.
- Be proficient in Test automation and at least one specialisation.
- Proven experience in developing policies, processes, standards and frameworks and to drive improvement programs.
- Experience in uplifting team members to create a high performing team that are delivery focused.
- The ability to drive development conversations with resources and seek input from Testing delivery leads - Test Directors, Quality Engineering Managers, Lead Quality Engineers and Practice leads.
