Our client, an Aussie company in the Construction, Property & Finance industry seeks a skilled Testing Manager, technically savvy but consultative and business facing.
The company is going through significant transformation, they've been in business 40 years and grown organically from a technology perspective.
At the moment they are moving to expand and scale, currently this means significant uplift on the technology they have.
The current environment has no test automation and needs SDLC built out.
From a test perspective this role will initially contribute to quick wins for the change process, they are a Microsoft shop – Azure devops and salesforce as a platform.
This role will establish how to build securely and utilise best practice frameworks whilst uplifting capability. This role will be based in Perth, and there will be an expectation for 3 days in the city centre office a week.
Responsibilities
- Develop the test use case criteria and associated user acceptance test data within an establish test management framework
- Enable the validation and testing of development related to functionality defined.
- Collect, define and document business processes, requirements, functional Algorithms.
- Support technical resources as questions or issues arise.
- Help build out a testing team and build out the testing capability
- Proven experience in leading the direction, development, and implementation of testing solutions and execution of automations and manual testing aspects
- Past experience in building out a Testing team and capability from scratch
- ITIL based operational and change management support principles.
- Strong background in test management approaches and developing use test cases and associated test data and documenting test results.
- Apply periodically updates to the QA Procedure Manual, objectives and philosophies within Standards
