As a part of St Vincent de Paul, Vincent Industries is an Australian Disability Enterprise (ADE); and provides work and training opportunities for those living with a disability in the Northwest of Tasmania. The business currently employs 40 individuals living with a disability. The emphasis at Vincent Industries isn't on people’s disabilities but rather their ability.
The Textile Operator role will encompass a variety of warehouse duties, including donation sorting, stock rotation and bale press operation. Some truck and forklift operations will be required. While this role is based in Wynyard, on occasions you may assist our East Devonport site.

Essential Skills/Requirements
- Current MR truck licence
- Manual drivers licence
- Forklift licence
- Demonstrated experience in a driving or warehouse position
- Proven sound forklift operations experience
- Willingness to complete a range of tasks, focusing on teamwork and collaboration
- Exceptional communication skills on all platforms and the ability to show empathy and compassion with all interactions
- Self-motivated and the ability to motivate others around you
- Demonstrate a flexible and willing approach to working in a diverse team
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing environments and demands
- Knowledge and understanding of safe work practices and a proactive approach to WHS
The successful applicant must hold a current compliant National Police Check, along with a valid Working with Vulnerable People Card or willingness to obtain.
