L J Hooker Aspley|Chermside is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Leasing and Property Management Assistant to assist their fast paced and professional Property Management team. You will join a really lovely team of highly experienced, professional Property Managers who will take you under their wing and train you the right way, with plenty of support and structure and great processes already in place. You in turn will learn to provide wonderful support and learn all the ropes in relation to professional Property Management. You will be given the opportunity to progress your career at a pace you are comfortable with too. Ideally you will have some previous Real Estate experience (although this is not essential if you are the right person and have other great skills to bring), and you will be seeking a role where you can expand your skills, take the next step in your career, and assist our large team of Property Managers to fulfil and exceed our client expectations every day.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Managing rental enquiries
- Arranging and conducting inspections for prospective tenants from Tuesday – Saturday
- Showcasing and presenting our properties in their best possible light
- Post inspection follow up calls to prospective tenants and applicants
- Working with our Property Management team to ensure our large portfolio of properties is leased promptly and efficiently
- Sending landlord reports
- Assisting the property management team with their day-to-day activities including processing applications, conducting routine and entry/exit inspections and general administration support to the property management team
What you will need -
- A desire for a long term career in Real Estate
- Current Drivers License
- Current QLD real estate certificate
- Work week is Tuesday to Saturday (with a rostered day off on Monday)
- A willingness to learn and work as part of a friendly team
- A very high level of personal presentation
- Exceptional people skills – friendly, helpful and proactive
- Very good attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure
- The ability and a willingness to take ownership of the role and extend its value in our business
- Working knowledge of Inspect Real Estate Software (desirable but not essential)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A happy and helpful personality
