About the Role
We are actively looking for enthusiastic and energetic individuals with a strong customer focus to fill the role of a Theatre Assistant. As an Assistant, you will be working in the theatre department.
Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Collaborating with and supporting clinical staff
- Performing cleaning tasks and waste removal
- Setting up operating theatres and checking equipment for surgical procedures
- Transporting patients between wards.
About You
While experience is not necessary in this role, an interest in patient care is essential to succeed in this role. Willingness to learn and to be trained as a hospital orderly.
You will also bring:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent patient and customer service focus
- Be available for a range of shifts across a 5 day rotating roster
- Prior experience in a similar role (desirable).
Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $31.20 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances
