About The Role
We are seeking experienced Theatre Technician professionals to join our wonderful team.
Within this position you will work as a member of the perioperative team by supporting and supervising theatre personnel to prepare the operating theatre environment for procedures.
At Warringal Private Hospital, we have 11 operating theatres, offering a diverse caseload, with specialties including but not limited to orthopaedics, plastics, ENT, general & bariatric surgery, breast and endocrine, gynaecological, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, oral & maxillofacial surgery, pain management and vascular surgery.
Your Skills and Experiences
To succeed in this role, you will be an enthusiastic individual with a passion for customer service who enjoys being part of a busy team.
You will also bring:
- 2 years minimum Tech experience within an operating theatre essential.
- Certificate IV in Operating Theatre Technician Practice/Health Services Assistant or equivalent will also be essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a diverse team
- The flexibility to work a rotating roster will be key to this role.
Remuneration
On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $32.88 - $38.04 + superannuation based on qualifications and experience. Exclusive of penalties and allowances.

About Our Hospital
Built as a 76 bed facility, Warringal has transformed throughout the last decade via major redevelopment and expansion. Warringal’s comprehensive day oncology service is provided in a dedicated Day Oncology Centre, providing comprehensive cancer care in a relaxed and uplifting environment in nearby Martin Street. In 2015 the major redevelopment expanded the hospital to a 215 bed facility incorporating 11 state of the art operating theatres.
Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
